On Saturday, my J & I went to dinner at Le Guignol, a quaint French restaurant in town. We both aren't real fans of French food, but heard this restaurant was fantastic so we decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic! So flavorful and delicious, with perfect portion sizes and affordable prices. The restaurant is also BYOB so we enjoyed a bottle of Du Mol "Ryan" Pinot Noir ~ one of my faves! We definitely plan to go back again soon.
wow that sounds like a lot of food!!! how was the bone marrow? the thought of it still grosses me out. i try not to think about it when i'm eating pho.
ReplyDeleteand how was the blue cheese ice cream?!! sounds interesting!
that's awesome that you can bring your own wine. did they charge a corkage fee?
how was the bone marrow prepared? i don't think i'll ever get used to the texture... it looks more appetizing here though... at charlie palmer it really looked like a bone. eesh.
ReplyDeleteeverything looks great.
3 desserts!! =)
everything looks good. is that a whole rack of lamb?!? now, i'm hungry.
ReplyDeletethe bone marrow was mine and it was so yummmmmmmmmmy! i don't know how it was prepared but i put it on a piece of baguette and sprinkled it with sea salt and herb olive oil. it tastes like a meaty flavored butter. so delicious!
ReplyDeletethe blue cheese ice cream was sweet and savory. it wasn't super blue cheese flavored and there were chunks of blue cheese in it too. it went well with the cake.
the corkage was $5 i think.
